By the grace of God and the labor of the hands of our parishioners, benefactors, and friends of our parish, we have created a beautiful church complex to the Glory of God and the edification of the Orthodox Christian Faith.

As it stands, there are necessary repairs to our church dome structure and other areas of our church which need to be corrected. As you can see, this work has begun. Our Parish Council has contracted the company Unique Services to complete the work. The current contract for the project is approximately $300,000 with contingency costs of up to 20%. In addition to the contracted price, we will also incur expenses associated with repairs of the interior drywall and painting. In light of these repairs, the final cost of the project is estimated to be between $350,000 to $400,000.

To date, we have in hand approximately $145,000 earmarked for this project. In addition, our Parish Council has determined that we can leverage some proceeds from our recent food fair to help pay for the project (as a reminder we also use those funds to support our annual mortgage). Even with the existing earmark and recent food fair proceeds, we still need additional support to pay for the project.

We respectfully request that you consider making a pledge and/or payment of whatever amount of funding you are able.   Donations can be made anytime in the future. In making your donation, please issue your check to St. George Church, earmarked “Dome Project,” and we thank you in advance for your prayers and generosity.
