Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

I am pleased to announce that our parish presentations and discussions on the third Sunday of each month has been a great success. I would like to thank Fr. Damaskinos and Sub-deacon Paul Abernathy for their commitment in this endeavor and for sharing their insights and expertise in the Orthodox faith.

Many of you are taking advantage of these gatherings which cover a variety of topics relative to the Orthodox faith and which are essential in helping us live our lives in Christ. This Sunday, February 16th, I am pleased to announce and welcome our first guest speaker, Deacon Luke Toumi, who, as you see in the title of his presentation cited above, will be engaging us in a topic most relevant for our times, especially as we prepare to enter the Great Fast which begins on March 3rd.

I look forward to being with all of you at the Divine Liturgy and for the presentation to follow. Refreshments will be available for the presentation.

 In Christ,

Fr. Jason
